Bio

I grew up in Cape May City and graduated from Richard M. Stockton College with my bachelor's degree in Chemistry. I worked in the private sector as a Quality Control/Research Chemist. I then moved into the teaching profession and haven't looked back. I love teaching and have found it to be my calling in life!

I began teaching at the alternative school in the Cape May County Special Services school district. From alternative school setting into mainstream, I then taught physics and chemistry at West Deptford High School. Homesick, I moved back to the shore area to teach two years at Absegami High School and now I am happily teaching here at Ocean City High School. I obtained my Master’s degree in Educational Technology in 2006. I have been an Interact Club advisor, Class Counsel advisor, Mock Trial teacher/coach and I am currently co- advisor for the Class of 2015.

I have also had the privilege of coaching golf at West Deptford, Varsity Field hockey at Absegami and freshman field hockey, freshmen softball and JV lacrosse here at OCHS and I have loved every minute of it!

If you are a student reading this, I want to acknowledge your continued effort in striving for excellence in my course.

And if this is a parent reading this, I would like to thank you for your support as your child's teacher! I believe together we will make an educational difference in your child's life. I strive to do what it takes to reach the student and make he/she be the best that they can be. I not only teach the concepts of the science course they are enrolled in but I strive to help them work to their fullest potential.
